Fabulous fiber is what alpacas are all about! Take a couple of these males home for your own private source of luxury fiber. (As herd animals, you must have at least two.) Harvest the wonderful fleece each spring and enjoy making your alpaca's fiber into something special. Or you can have it made into an heirloom for yourself or a loved one.
Few things are as relaxing as watching alpacas peacefully graze. They will help keep your grass mown, and fertilized, too!
If you like, take them for walks. Children can enter showmanship or obstacle courses at the shows with their alpacas. Most alpacas respond to children even better than they do to adults, and children can learn valuable lessons about responsibility and respect for other creatures by caring for alpacas.
