About Cameo: Cameo is a beautiful alpaca. A pretty head, a perfect bite, and good conformation. Her fleece is bright and soft handling. With the 'body capacity' you hear the judges talk about, Cameo is an 'easy keeper'. She can carry crias easily... year after year.
With color on both sides of her pedigree, she has the potential to produce quality in color. The blend of Bolivian & Peruvian bloodlines in her pedigree is well known to produce exceptional quality alpacas.
Sire - Bolivian Bad Leroy Brown was imported in-utero with his dam from the Acero Marka in Bolivia. Alpacas from Acero Marka are well known for their overall quality and fine fleeces. Leroy Brown is no exception. From a limited number of crias, his daughter Misty Morning is a Champion, (owned by Buffalo River Alpacas). In turn, each of Misty Morning's crias has become a Champion!
Dam - Elever's Venus is from the highly succesful Piney Hills Alpaca Ranch (PHAR) breeding program. Her sire is PPeruvian Elever, an Alianza import who won the prestigious 'Get of Sire' class at the 1998 AOBA National Show - over several of the best known Accoyo males!!!
UPDATE: 10/12 Cameo delivered a handsome white male cria sired by Bolero.
Cameo was exposed to Inti Segundo Too None, a young male just starting his breeding career. She sells with an additional breeding to any Inti male, including Maple Brook Bolero, a proven sire of Champions, with outstanding conformation and an amazing fleece. We're letting Cameo go because we have decided to focus on the Alianza lines from Peru.
AWARDS RECEIVED:To the best of our knowledge, Cameo was never shown. Her sister, Misty Morning, is a color Champion. Each of Misty Morning's crias have also been awarded either Championships or Reserve Championships!
